A Belgian cost controller and marketing analyst turned junior copywriter at the tender age of 30. He caught up quickly and became creative director at Leo Burnett Brussels and later at Famous Brussels and Amsterdam. In the five years he was there he was awarded Creative of the Year and the agency became Belgian Agency of the Year 3 times, as well as runner-up agency of the year at Eurobest. He moved to Italy as CCO at TBWA Rome and Milan. Learned Italian, loved the food, won the biggest pitch of the year. Moved to Paris to co-found Being for the TBWA group and won Integrated Agency of the Year in its second year. In 2012 he co-founded independent agency Babel Paris in 2012, which won Integrated Agency of the Year in its first year. He won over 200 national and international awards and sat on all the main juries. He wrote 14 audio family comedies, 7 of which were #1 bestsellers, a musical, an audio play about 16th century humanism and a new city legend for Antwerp’s winter festival. Two of his books are translated into french starring Cecile de France, who’s  actually from Belgium, too.
