Kerry Donahue

Donahue is a journalist, producer and trainer with a long history of innovation in radio and on-demand audio. Previously the Director of the Audio Program at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, Donahue is a former executive producer at New York Public Radio and a member of the leadership team that launched the daily public radio news program The Takeaway. As a producer of original content at Audible in the early 2000s, Donahue produced on-demand original audio long before podcasting became a household term. Her work has been heard across the airwaves on productions from PRX, NPR, WNYC and more. 

The PRX training team works to support podcast development, particularly for underrepresented voices in the United States and around the world. In 2019, PRX ran the Google Podcasts creator program, training early-stage podcasters across the United States, Brazil, Spain, India, Lebanon, Colombia, Chile and Kenya as well as releasing a free ten-part series of educational Podcasting 101 videos translated into multiple languages.
