Jeroen Verspeek

Jeroen Verspeek is Head of Audience Measurement at the BBC. His team is responsible for BBC’s main panel based audience trackers on behaviour and perception. He is involved in the UK’s industry audience measurement, being a board member of industry committees BARB and RAJAR. He is responsible for the development of BBC’s bespoke cross media measurement tool, BBC’s daily quality tracker Pulse and the brand insight team.

Prior to the BBC, Jeroen was Head of the Audience Research Department of NPO. In that position he was involved in the measurement industry developments for radio, TV and online in the Dutch market. In other roles he worked on the positioning of NPO’s television channels and the development of a strategy for its digital television channels. For Dutch telecom operator KPN he worked as a marketing communications manager for their TV products for DTT and IPTV.

Jeroen studied Business Economics at Tilburg University and Communication Sciences at Radboud University Nijmegen.
