Greg James is an award-winning radio/TV presenter and writer.  He is the host of BBC Radio 1’s Breakfast Show and is, alongside his long-term writing partner, Chris Smith, a best-selling author of the children’s book series ‘Kid Normal’. He is also the host of the cult hit cricket podcast ‘Tailenders’ for BBC Radio 5 Live alongside England cricketer James Anderson and musician Felix White.

Greg is known for his gruelling Sport Relief challenges and in 2016 underwent Radio 1’s Gregathlon for Sport Relief, completing 5 triathlons across 5 cities in 5 days, and raising over £1 million in the process. Two years later, he undertook another Radio 1 ‘Gregathon’, this time entitled ‘Pedal to The Peaks'. The challenge was to climb the three highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales and cycle the 500 miles between them.  He managed to climb Snowdon and Scafell Pike before ’The Beast from the East’ put a stop to things. However, he returned a week later when the snow had subsided (a bit) to complete the cycle and then summit Ben Nevis, raising another £1 million.
