Glen Mulcahy

Glen Mulcahy is founder of Titanium Media, a training and consultancy business which focuses on new and emerging media platforms. His former role was head of innovation with RTÉ, Ireland's national public broadcaster. Over the last seven years he has inspired and driven the growth of mobile journalism within RTÉ and across other European and international broadcasters. He was the founder and event manager of RTÉ Mojocon one of the first international media conferences to focus exclusively on smartphone content creation which ran over three consecutive years in Ireland.

Glen has trained in excess of 1500 journalists in Europe, the Middle East and the United States, across television, radio, print and online and his specialities are Mobile Journalism, Video Journalism, VR/360 and Photography.

He has spoken at numerous media industry events including, IBC Conference, EBU News Technology summit, Aljazeera Forum, News Rewired, ITV News conference, 3XEDigital, Connected TV World Summit, Joong Ang Media conference Korea and more.

As a keen technologist, Glen is at the forefront of engaging with new technologies and working up solutions for how such technologies can transform the way traditional media organisations work.

A former broadcast engineer, Glen has worked in the broadcast industry for over nineteen years - but says the current disruptive trends in technology are some of the most exciting and challenging he has seen.
