Francesca Shaw is a Research Linguist at Lyrebird, overseeing the script-writing and recording processes that are involved in making Lyrebird's digital voices. Francesca is passionate about the potential of speech technology to revolutionise the way we interact with our machines and communicate with others. She has given demonstrations and talks about speech technology across a variety of platforms, including BBC radio, the IDEA Summit, and the 'Lates' program at the Science Museum in London. She is a graduate of Edinburgh university, and now lives in Montréal.
