Emma Theedom
Audience Researcher
BBC
United Kingdom

Emma Theedom has been an Audience Researcher at the BBC for seven years. In that time Emma has worked across research for BBC content on TV and radio, as well as on the last big relaunch of the BBC’s on-demand service, BBC iPlayer. In her current role as Research Manager for News and Current Affairs, Emma has looked after audience research for the past two UK general elections and the historic EU referendum, looking at what audiences wanted and needed from BBC News across all its platforms. As well as these big political events, Emma has more recently looked at the role that TV and radio news plays in a world where news consumption is increasingly moving online.
