Matilde Meslin, French journalist working for Slate.fr discusses podcasting at Radiodays Europe 2022

Speaking in the session the Great Pivot to Audio

Well respected French podcast journalist discusses the Great Pivot to Audio at Radiodays Europe 2022

Media organisations of all sizes are moving into audio in a big way. Legacy groups are leaving the experimentation phase and putting audio at the front and center of their editorial offering and business strategy. Why are these players going "all in" for the ear? How are they building a content strategy with a tech stack to match? Do they represent a threat or an ally to audio-native media?

Matilde Meslin is a French journalist working for Slate.fr. She writes mainly about podcasts and podcasting. For the past four years she's observed the growth of podcasting in France. Matilde also is the editorial manager of Slate Audio, a platform created by Slate.fr that selects only the best of French-speaking podcasts, and the host of "Sans Algo", a weekly podcast that recommends others.
