Ger Gilroy will share the story of how one radio sports programme became a brand in itself incorporating online TV programmes, events and trips. The expansion has had a huge impact not only on advertising revenues and commercial partnerships but also on audience numbers and listener loyalty. Talpa’s Radio538 in the Netherlands has enjoyed huge success since it pushed the boundaries its dance music programme. The expansion helped Tomorrowland become the most global festival on earth. It has built a family of loyal listeners, increased brand awareness and continues to build on the success of each year to make the events bigger and bigger.
