RadioMedia is both the lobbying organization as well as the marketing organization for the private radio industry in Finland.
Stefan Möller started his radio career with the public service broadcaster YLE. When the commercial radio business started in Finland Stefan Möller worked as a producer and later marketing director, for number one commercial radio station in Finland called Radio One. Stefan Möller formed his own creative communication services company and production studio. He has worked as a consultant for several radio companies both native and international.
Stefan Möller has worked as Managing Director for Metromedia Internationals four Finnish radio stations and sales house. Stefan Möller was a member of the board for The Association of Finnish Broadcasters for several years until he was asked in late 2007 to take over the Managing Director position of the association and at the same time the Managing Director position of RAB Finland.
Stefan Möller merged the association and RAB Finland into RadioMedia in late 2008. RadioMedia represents almost 100 % of the private radio stations in Finland.
RadioMedia has had an active role in the success of the commercial radio in Finland with a 7, 4% growth in 2008 reaching its all time revenue high.
In 2009 private radio grew its market share with 0, 5% just 1, 7% behind year 2008 record revenues.
