Sam Bailey is Interactive Editor for Music Events, BBC. Coming to the BBC via school radio, student radio, charity radio, and local radio, Sam has spent the last four years working at BBC Radio 1 developing the brand to lead the way in visual, social, shareable radio.   His new role as Interactive Editor for Music Events sees him head up the team delivering coverage of major music festivals like Glastonbury, and the undiscovered music brand BBC Introducing.  Sam is currently preparing for the BBC's biggest ever live event; a two-day music festival in the shadow of the new Olympic Stadium as part of the London 2012 Festival.
