Martin Weiser is Head of Driver Information Systems within Volkswagen Group Research.  The department focuses on the connectivity of road users, either directly or via the internet, resulting in new functions and features, which will contribute to traffic safety and efficiency. Additionally, connectivity will change the use of media in tomorrow’sautomobiles.
 
Martin Weiser graduated in Electrical Engineering and received his PhD in Aerospace Engineering at the Technical University Braunschweig, Germany. After some years in the aviation industry he joined Volkswagen in 2002 and was in charge of electronics pre and concept development. In 2006 he changed to Volkswagen Group Research.
