25 years ago, Kristian Kropp’s career started at exactly the same radio station, in which he became director of in June 2009 - The radio station of Rhineland-Palatinate, RPR1.
 
Between 1988 and 1993, he held the position as senior and chief editor at Radio Regenbogen in Mannheim.
 
From 1993 to 2000, he was chief editor and associate director at Hitradio Antenne Niedersachsen.
 
Starting in 2000, Kristian Kropp led the youth radio broadcast station bigFM in Stuttgart, bigFM, to be the most successful radio station for young people in Germany.
 
In the summer of 2009, he became the director of the private statewide radio station, RPR1., the longtime market leader in Rhineland-Palatinate. At present, RPR1. is one of two shareholders and parent company of bigFM in Rhineland-Palatinate.
