Eugenio La Teana (RTL 102.5)
Eugenio La Teana currently work as “Head of Research & Development” in RTL 102.5 Hit Radio.
The experience in IT technology, gives the opportunity to Mr. La Teana of seeing the media from a different point of view.
While he was studying engineering at the university, he took to our experience in a Media Company. The first role in the company was the restyling of internet web site as consultant. The passion for the radio system, revealed hitself at the very beginning. Mr. La Teana became in 2000 an employee of RTL 102.5.
Around 2001 he received the task to create “Interactivity” on a Television Channel, it was the birth of 102.5 Hit Channel, the first real Multimedia Interactive Music Channel. He spent two years discovering new ways of integrating RADIO-TV-INTERNET and Mobile Phone. After that he focused once again on Radio, the result of his new experience was the launch of TMC (Traffic Message Channel) on RTL network. Today he is the reference in TMC FORUM for private TMC in Italy.
Taking some step backwords in 2002, Eugenio started the adventure of Digital Radio. He took part as RTL 102.5 project leader in some European project like PRETIO, MY FRIEND, ect. Today he is one of the best known in Europe regarding “Interaction over DAB network”. He’s working also on the launch of Mobile TV over DAB (DMB). RTL 102.5 is the first Italian company that has pushed Mobile TV on the phone.
